Aloha All & Happy New Year,
I just returned home here in Hilo tonight, 8 Jan after being on Oahu since 30 Dec.
Just to inform all who do not know yet:
Brother Anthony "Tony" Carvalho (I believe a retired sergeant from D-4) has passed on. Per Steve Magnani, who was visiting with him regularly (as was Billy D'Argis flying in from HNL occasionally), his services will be split where in 1/2 of his ashes will be spread on the Big Island near Hawaiian Ocean View Estates and the other 1/2 in D-4.
Brother Leonard McKeown's (Wally Abreu calls him "Cuba") services was held this past week, attended by many Brethren. Some of you still are not aware.
Per Wally Abreu (still the same Wally...happy go luck as ever), Terrence Yuen also lost his fight with cancer. I believe Terry was a retired major. Unk yet, when his services are.
As more and more Brethren leave us, all the more reason, we have to remain "tight". I personally, am much tighter with my HPD Ohana/Family, than with my own family tree.
Anyone having more information or what to share anything about these beautiful Brothers, please register/login and "go for it".
Aloha Ke Akua as we are mindful about our Brethren, lary. P.S. Russell Yap and the X Solo Bikers will be joining our 5th Annual HPD Big Island Ohana 10-3 on Aug 21, 22 and 23, 2009. What a blessing. We had 200 people attend our 4th Annual event. Don't forget our Blue Invasion in Vegas 2010.
