Aloha All,
So sorry, but I still have not set up my GROUP MAIL that Karen Lum is trying to teach me. Every time I send out an email to all, I take about an hour or so, to put every email address in, one by one. THIS TIME, I am tagging onto the last email I sent out for Clem, and will now use the emails to send out a Prayer Request for Sterling Lau, who was injured in a head-on motorcycle accident this past Sunday.
PLEASE READ THE BELOW INFO from Charlie Langer, as relayed to him by Mel Woo. The below information, is an UPDATE to Langer's earlier information to me about 45 minutes ago. Thank God, it has a much better report. Here goes and please pray accordingly.

Mel Woo just called me again and said that he was able to talk to Sterling Lau. Sterling is still in ICU at Queens Hospital. He should be transferred out of ICU today and put in a regular room at Queens. Sterling said that it does not look like there will be a need to amputate his leg. This is good news.
This sounds much better than what I was told in the first call. I'm sure that Brother Sterling can still use prayers from all of us. I assume that since he is ready to leave ICU, he is no longer on the Critical List.
Ahui Hou, Charlie
ALSO, after getting the initial email from Charlie, I wanted to confirm with Jeff Yamanutsa. They both are with the AG's Office. I phoned Jeff, he was checking into a Riverside CA hotel. (He gave the funeral service for Fred Schultz yesterday in HNL, then caught the red eye to CA to testify).
He said he spoke with Sterling's wife Paula. On Sunday, Sterling was riding his motorcycle with his brother and two other friends on the Windward side (Kahaluu, Kaneohe?). Something about a car was gonna make a turn and Sterling swerved to avoid hitting the car, BUT...). He apparently broke his knee, tibia and ankle. Praise God, that he doesn't have to amputate. Great news. WE pray for God's Healing Hand on Sterling (and Herman Scanlan). Once appropriate and okay, I know these Brothers would appreciate calls and visitations. All part of the healing process, for sure.
PLEASE DO NOT also, forget to pray for the family of our Eric Fontes and also, for the recovery of HPD Officer Herman Scanlan, from that motor vehicle accident by Ko Olina.
ALSO, please keep in prayers too, the family of Clem Enoka, Larry Wong, Fred Schultz aand Manny Orengo, as well as Amy Sumida's family, as they seek closure, comfort, strength and understanding.
Aloha Ke Akua, lary.
UPDATE: JUST FOUND OUT MORE INFORMATION in another email, from Glen Kamanao. HE WAS THERE.
Mahalos to All, lary.
P.S. Anyone having announcement to make regarding our Brethren, PLEASE feel free to post a thread. Any questions, please call me at (808)966-4348.
